Pre-registering is required. The instructors need to have a text book and hand-outs for every student. Pre-registering allows the instructor to have a head count. Also, if a student walks in and the class is full, students who have pre-registered are given priority seating over the walk-in.
All payments MUST be made in full to REE prior to arrival at the first class. If you register for a class, you will receive an invoice about a week before your class. Please click and pay from the invoice. The invoice will come from REAL ESTATE EDUCATORS IN (via Clover)
There will be a final examination in all Salesperson and Broker Pre-license classes. A final examination is not required for any of the Continuing Education classes.
Real Estate licensees are required to complete 30 hours of continuing education.
All Broker classes, whether 15 hours or 30 hours in length, can only be counted for 10.5 hours of continuing education credit since the state requires that all licensees attend the state-mandated 3.5-hour class (Understanding the Roles and Responsibilities of the Broker and their Licenses).
The short answer is no. The Rules and Regulations of the PA State Real Estate Commission allow a student to miss a very minimal amount of classroom time. Real Estate Educators strictly abides by the classroom times set by the Commission. If a student is late for class over the amount of time permitted by the Rules and Regulations of the Commission, the student will not be admitted into the classroom. The student will not be charged a fee for the class. We encourage all students to be ontime for class and not to plan on leaving early.
Classes must be completed by May 31 of the following year, to renew a real estate license.
All newer licensees that were licensed on or after 12/1/21, are required by the State of PA to attend two 7-hour module CE classes for licensure renewal. The 7-hr General Module is the state-mandated class all new licensees must attend. The other 7-hr module needed to complete the 14 hours of required continuing education requirement can be one of the following classes: the 7-hour Residential Module or the 7-hour Commercial Module.
Experienced Licensees (licensed on or before 11/30/21) are REQUIRED to attend a 3.5-hour CE class on Understanding the Roles & Responsibilities of the Broker and Their Licensees. New licensees who are renewing for the first time are exempt from this one time requirement and are still required to meet the mandatory courses for new licensees as stated in the preceding paragraph.
